Having moved to Atlanta, she first heard of the Dekalb Symphony Orchestra from a fellow parent – and DSO cellist – while both were waiting outside their children’s auditions for middle school all-state band. She became a member of the DSO in 2010. Rosemary loves being part of the DSO. There is a friendly camaraderie, the opportunity to get an intimate insight into the way a complex piece of music is constructed, and always the enjoyment of contributing to the overall sound of wonderful music.
